‘Children of Silicon Valley’ explores the lives of individuals born with irreparable mental impairments and physical disabilities caused by the mother’s exposure to neurotoxic chemicals during pregnancy, while working in Silicon Valley’s factories in the 1970s and 1980s.

Mark is 39, he was born with extensive hematoma on his head, suggestive of in-utero lead exposure, as well as other physical impairments; he speaks in monosyllables.

Mike, 54, suffers from Klinefelter syndrome, a pathology that shows long limbs, cognitive impairments and a tendency toward behavioral problems. He has severe arthritis and difficulties walking.

Darryl was born with microcephaly and shows signs of severe autism, he has basic reading skills and loves music but cannot be left unattended.
